The staff and everyone was incredibly helpful, the food in the dining room was delicious for all 3 meals, our room was cozy and comfortable, a great stay all around. Only complaint is the small shower head, but that’s ok, it was still an amazing stay, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
It is rustic but so perfect for the area. Good food in the dinning room, clean room, beds were good. Just a sweet place to step back in time and slow down. Look forward to visiting again!
We had a wonderful stay at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park. The lodge has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and our room was clean and comfortable. A couple of areas could be improved: (1) better sound insulation between rooms, as we could hear noise from neighboring guests (TVs, conversations, etc.), and (2) quicker service in the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!
Incredable location in the heart of Skyline Drive. Property views were amazing.

Was a little skeptical based on other reviews, but the room was nice, clean, good AC, good running water. Beds were comfortable. A great stay in the heart of the national park.
Our stay was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, rooms were no frills and a bit rustic, but very clean. Bring a map and flashlight if you go out exploring after dark as there is no cell service and the area is dimly lit. Beautiful views in the morning and great dining.
We loved the large room with the big screen TV and the fireplace. The walk in shower was huge and very nice. The location was great for visiting the National Park and for walking around Gatlinburg. Also, a big plus was The Peddler Steakhouse next door. It was awesome! We would definitely stay at the lodge again.
Within park, beautiful location but hotel is terrible. Very old, dirty outdated not worth price of rooms. Terrible front desk service. Bar had good service and ok good but overpriced.
We liked the rustic feeling. No TV, No microwave, No Fridge, No internet, just peace and quiet. Easy to get to. Deer all around area to watch.
We got there and they said restaurant was closed because of power issues. So we did go downstairs to the Tap Room to eat.
