We were upgraded to a room with a mountain view and a balcony. The clerk at reception was very useful and spoke great English. The breakfast was very good and had lots to choose from. The hotel is very well situated straight in the mountains and a short drive to many attractions. Because we went at the end of March and beginning of April, not everything was open but still enjoyed our time.

This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view from the dining room is outstanding and has an unobstructed view of the mountains. The pool is a bonus and the staff are friendly and helpful. I have visited several times and will return again soon.

I love this hotel, it is centrally located and accessible to to bus and rail transportation.. while, the steps up continue to be a challenge this is not a deal breaker. I enjoy my visits here and love the view at bereakfast and the friendly staff. I recommend a visit here any time. Bill

Okay, so Berchtesgaden is the jewel but this hotel helps. Located just up the hill from the train station, with a lovely restaurant view and reasonable prices, I can't help but recommend the place. The staff were really friendly too. I enjoyed my stay in Berchtesgaden. I just wish I'd stayed longer.

Spent a night to visit the mountain and Königssee. Great facilities, our room had a nice balcony. Interior had a classic charm, all facilities and breakfast clean and fresh. Perfect location in the city. Would go again.

Our junior suite was adorably Bavarian. It was comfortable, spacious and very clean! The bathroom was quite large and also very clean. The buffet breakfast was super, we enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly.
Plenty of space to get comfy for a couple of days!
For people with mobility issues, I would not recommend.

This was such a cute hotel in such a cute little town! If you will be checking out early or checking in late be sure to let someone know because the front desk staff is not there 24/7.
