"Beautiful room in an historic hotel, overlooking a park and quay. It even had a window seat! Common areas were large and lovely with ample seating groups. Breakfast and a light supper were included in the room rate. It was conveniently located to shopping, dining and historic sights. Staff was pleasant and accomodating."

"I wish I had known that our room was on the 5th floor, attic apartment with a sloped roof. I'm tall and could only stand upright in the center of the room. I also wish I had paid attention that there was no elevator. The whole building has been beautifully renovated, but the apartment on the top floor does not look like the photos, because of the sloped roof. I appreciated the washer and dryer though. And the location near the ferry and the historic part of town was convenient. "

"Very romantic place to stay. Charming rooms, classic, but not tacky. Modern technology used for ac/heating and background music. Spotless. Staff is attentive and polite, even when it gets busy. Free espresso and coffee station set up outside to be used anytime. À la carte breakfast was beautifully served and tasted just as it looked. We ordered from the menu every morning, never got bored. Would love to return. "
