"Love the old building, such a great piece of history for Berkeley. The architecture and pool were amazing. Plus the little quiet green space courtyard. Staff all very friendly. The room was comfortable and quaint. Great location too. Only downside was construction a few doors down, which started very early. And some college kids doing some workout chanting at 6:30 but you can’t fault the property for those. "

"It was great as always, the valet upon arrival was somewhat difficult and the man in the valet front did not seem too interested in helping us, maybe he was overwhelmed? The police had to come ask us to move because we were blocking the way. There was a lot of cars waiting to be parked and we were not told where to go. They just said park anywhere and we will get to it. Other than that, this hotel is perfect."
