"You have got to be kidding! I booked this hotel for an overnight layover near Heathrow becuase it looked cute in the pictures. It's incredible. Built in 1106, it oozes history and charm. You are basically staying upstairs above a lively pub. Such great fish and chips and steak and Guiness pie! Also there is a bus line across the street that runs right into Heathrow terminal 5. That said- it is an old historical building so if you're interested in modern business stuff, it might not be for you."

"Easy to park, even though it was busy when we arrived (8pm on a Sat Eve), and received a warm welcome at Reception. Room adequate for what were required - a place to stay for a night - but could have been paid a bit more attention - the two chairs in the room were looking tired and threadbare. Bed a little uncomfortable for our liking, so not a great nights sleep for us."

"The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night."
