I paid an extra $30 in advance through the app for early check-in, but when I called to confirm, staff rudely told me it was “too late to ask” until I explained I had already paid for it. They then said housekeeping would prioritize my room.
The room looked nothing like the photos. The window wouldn’t properly close or lock, the walls and carpet were filthy, and the furniture made the room feel depressing. When I asked to move to one of the nicer rooms I saw with wood flooring, they said it wasn’t possible. However, when I asked about a refund so I could leave, suddenly they said they could move me—but the new room was just as bad.
At one point my belongings were locked in the first room and no one answered the phone, with staff directing me to the app instead. The building was also very noisy with creaky floors, thin walls (I could hear my neighbor snoring), slamming doors, and limited shared bathrooms. One shower was out of soap my entire stay and there was mold present.
I’ve been traveling across Europe for months without a single negative experience until this stay. The poor condition of the property and lack of helpful staff made it a complete waste of money. I would not recommend staying here.
