The vita Hotel is definitely worth a five star review but it has a serious access problem. We arrived on a Saturday at the 12-14 Heerstrasse address that’s on Expedia. The only Vita sign says there’s a Vita clinic, but no hotel. The doors were locked and there was no answer to the door bell, The listed phone number didn’t answer and we were about to leave and find another hotel when a guest returning to the hotel noticed our distress and showed us the secret to reaching the hotel Vita. The entrance is around the corner and you need a key card to get in, but you can only get the keycard from the hotel once you’ve entered. There doesn’t seem to be an intercom so if our friendly guest hadn’t let us in we’d still be waiting there. Then you need the keycard to access the elevator because the hotel is on the 4th floor. Once you reach reception everything is great - spacious room and bathroom, clean and fresh and a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is definitely a good experience if only you can access it.
