The apartments are very nice, well equipped and comfortable. I would certainly stay in a limehome again. The only real downside is that there was heavy construction work going on in a building next to the accommodation, which meant serious noise issues from 7 am till 5 pm. Also, the internal air conditioning/ventilation system wasn’t working. Because it wasn’t that hot during my stay, this wasn’t a big issue.

I enjoyed my stay at limehome, the property is still under construction but the rooms were fully completed. I booked a rooftop balcony suite and I enjoyed the layout of the room, however I felt a little uncomfortable that the entire rooftop was accessible to all guests. I ended up keeping my blinds closed all night to ensure my privacy. I would definitely prefer some barrier between the rooms and the public use area. I still enjoyed my stay and would return however I would not get the rooftop room again.

Where to start? What you see on the websites, reviews and and booking portals is not what you get! The entry area was not cleared of snow and ice, and there were cars parked right near the main door. making it every difficult and somewhat dangerous to walk in and out. On entry, the lobby is unwelcoming and concrete (cold and dull), with musty stale smells (like stale cigarette smoke) throughout lobby, elevator and hallways. Felt like I was back at a cheap student housing. Room was clean and adequate, but basic. Construction started early morning will loud drills and workers arguing. For international traveller there was no universal socket to charge cell phones or laptops. Rooms had a stale air and smell. No hot water on one of the days (and it was winter in Berlin). This seems like accomodation for European based students, student interns or backpackers. This not the place to stay if you are on short stay business and if you are from outside of Europe. Given the experience, its overpriced and not what you see on the website or booking portals. If you are an international business traveller tread carefully - this place may not be for you.

The hotel, well located, quiet, good cleanliness and fluid communication by chat; but the comfort of the sofa bed for an adult, terrible, it was broken and it was impossible to rest well there, the air conditioning did not work and they left us some fans, therefore and in view of the inconvenience they could have offered compensation; they only settled for offering us the fans and patching the base of the sofa bed. El hotel, bien ubicado, tranquilo, buena limpieza y comunicación fluida por chat; pero la comodidad del sofá cama para un adulto, fatal, estaba roto y era imposible descansar bien allí, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y nos dejaron unos ventiladores, por tanto y en vista de la incomodidad podrían haber ofrecido una compensación; solo se conformaron con ofrecernos los ventiladores y remendar la base del sofá cama.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms in a not very busy area with good communications (U-bahn, S-bahn, buses). Situated between Kurfurstendamm and Kantstrasse, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The not so good: Strong wifi, but quite often it disconnects for 2-15 minut. This happened more often with my ipad, but not as often with the iphone. Strange and very annoying. The hotel offers free luggage storage, but the single locker they give you can only hold one piece of luggage (or two if they are small) which in my case made it practically unusable if you travel with two or more bags. There is no safety deposit box in the room. These issues aside, I would not hesitate to stay at Limehome Sybelstraße again.

Bedside table was dusty, hair pin on a chair and nuts under the table. Could have been cleaner. No air con just a fan and ventilation, room is too hot at this time of the year. No microwave or safe. Terrace not private, we found someone sitting there when we arrived. Garden and rooftop terrace full of cigarettes and rubbish. Needs tlc.

Had potential, but nein nein nein

The bed and location was nice, but thats pretty much it. The noise from the road outside was abysmal and the windows didnt shut fully, so we could hear the traffic at all times. The airconditioning didnt work, so we had to open the windows - making the noise even worse. The bathroom floor wasnt leaning towards the drain and there was no shower curtain, so we had to bathe carefully to avoid water all over and even outside the bathroom. On top of that the waterlock from the drain smelled awful at all times. Cleaning was sloppy and we found hair, dirt and residue at multiple places. The entrance door to our floor was broken for multiple days and locked people out. The cleaning staff was aware but no action was made. All in all a lot of minor issues and some major making the stay unpleasent.

Die Unterkunft und das Zimmer waren insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Lage war grundsätzlich gut, alles war sehr sauber und befand sich in einem ordentlichen sowie funktionsfähigen Zustand. Der grösste Kritikpunkt war die Lage des Zimmers an einer stark befahrenen Strasse. Bei offenem Fenster war der Verkehrslärm so laut, dass selbst Telefonate kaum möglich waren. Das Fenster nachts zum Schlafen offen zu lassen, kam daher nicht in Frage. Zudem empfand ich das Raumklima als unangenehm. Das Zimmer wurde schnell warm und stickig. Aufgrund des Strassenlärms war regelmässiges Lüften keine praktikable Lösung. Zwar gab es ein Gerät, das wie eine Klimaanlage aussah, dieses sorgte jedoch weder für eine spürbare Abkühlung noch für eine Verbesserung der Luftqualität. Auch die Qualität des Bettes hat mich nicht überzeugt. Insbesondere Matratze und Kissen empfand ich als wenig komfortabel. Die Matratze war zudem so beschaffen, dass man ausserhalb der Mitte leicht nach aussen rutschte. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war die Unterkunft in Ordnung. Bei einem nächsten Besuch würde ich jedoch eine andere Unterkunft wählen.

Trotz dass die Unterkunft recht neu ist, war das Zimmer recht abgewohnt. Das größte Problem war allerdings, dass die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte, durch die große Fensterfront war es bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur im Raum unerträglich. Wir haben die Mitarbeiter informiert, bis zur Abreise wurde das Problem nicht behoben und behauptet die Anlage würde funktionieren, was sie aber eindeutig nicht hat.

Für mich eine klare Empfehlung :-) Pro: - Saubere, moderne Zimmer, - Top Lage in Charlottenburg (S-Bahn Charlottenburg & U Wilmersdorfer Str. < 5 Min zu Fuß), - Praktische Ausstattung inkl. Küchenzeile (Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe/Pfannen), - Sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Bad, - Bequeme Betten, - Wasserkocher & Kaffeemaschine (inkl. Kapseln), - Einfacher Zugang per Code (kein klassischer Check-in nötig), - Tiefgarage verfügbar (ca. 10 €/Nacht) - Waschmaschine/Trockner im Keller (alles vollautomatisiert über die App WeWash: Waschen: 4,50 Euro/Trocknen: 4 Euro) Kontra: - Keine Hinweis: - Parksituation aktuell (Ende April '26/Anfang Mai '26) etwas schwierig, zudem ist die Zufahrt zur Waitzstraße/Sybelstraße derzeit eingeschränkt (baustellenbedingt). -Einige negative Bewertungen (z. B. Gerüche oder Prostitution) kann ich nicht bestätigen. Fazit: Für alle, die ein modernes, gut ausgestattetes Apartment ohne klassischen Hotelservice suchen und mit etwas Eigenverantwortung klarkommen, eine sehr gute Wahl.
