It was convenient to tram transportation. Room was very clean but small. Barely enough room for two people to move around in.

The cafeteria space on the 2nd floor (one floor above the lobby) is very "family friendly", with lots of tables and chairs, paper dishes and cups, and especially the water server, which serves cold and hot water, and even gassed water. We bought food at COOP, and had a good time there!!

It was good for a one night stay. Be aware that if you have multiple people the shower is see through and open in the room. We had to leave the room for people to shower.

It's ok, nothing more. Small room, small shower, sink in room. No electricity plug next to the bed. No hair dryer. Worse than a $39 motel room in the USA and it's 200+ Swiss francs. Parking 22.- additional per night and the garage smelled of trash. One good point: it's cheaper than the Novotel next door.

When I booked, I did not realize how far from city center this hotel is. Not hard to get to via frequent trains and city bus #9. And there is Bus #20 from city center that likely takes a long time to get to hotel area with lots of stops. The only restaurant reliably open and close is McDonald´s, though there are others in nearby shopping center. Okay breakfasts at hotel a bit pricey, but not as bad as in the Ibis Budget in Lima, Peru. They have no top sheet, only a comforter that is too heavy and hot in the summer. I took the inner part our and slept only under the cover. That was okay. This is a good place to stay if you are going to the adjacent Expo Center. I didn´t but I made it work.

Basic but clean room.

This was part of a multi stop trip. We also stayed at the Ibis in Kriens. We paid almost the same for both hotels, however the hotel in Kriens was much much nicer than this one. The nice thing about this stop was that we could get free transport into Bern.

Very Inexpensive compared to surrounding hotels, but this is more like a hostel than a hotel. Every possible cost savings is evident, but it gets the job done. Just don’t expect it to compare to more expensive luxurious accommodations. The rooms were clean, safe, and their surrounding area was good. Beds were comfortable. Very utilitarian, but there isn’t a cheaper way to sleep three people in the area that I could find.

Location of the hotel is good. Alps view from the hotel is amazing. But the hotel itself was not comparable to ibis standard. The room was very small, toliet room door was a like a normal wooden sheet without any latch or hook to close, bathroom didnt have any place for towel holding. Room service knocked door at 8am for service. In all, we didnt feel we stayed at ibis. It was more like small budget room for a tourist. Not worth the price for me.
