Good for an Ibis Hotel
The hotel is a little tired but the rooms are adequate and the facilities reasonable with the inclusion of a small swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Plenty secure parking but the hotel is in the middle of a housing estate. There is a Liddell nearby and a Casino Supermarket slightly further away but both easy to walk to. Overall, better than some Ibis hotels that I have stayed in and the staff were very polite and helpful. I didn't try to get to the city centre and believe that it is relatively easy using public transport therefore there is certainly a saving to be made by staying here rather than the city centre.

The room is too small and doesn’t have much room for all our needs. The common area seemed a bit neglected and in need of attention to maintenance. The staff is friendly. The location is not very good. Far from everything. I am glad we had a car. You definitely need a car to stay there.

Great family day stopover hotel. Friendly welcome, lots for the family including games and pool, and a good restaurant option. We would return again for a longer stay in Besancon in order to see more of this beautiful town and citadel. My only comment for improvement is that the carpet in rooms looks tired compared to the rest of the hotel.

Everything worked fine from the check-in to the breakfast, Front desk was friendly and spoke English. The room was clean and well maintained. The beds were good and comfortable. Big breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices.

Nearly perfect?
Enjoyed our stay although an A4 sheet of ‘rules’ in the room was really not what I would have expected from an Ibis hotel. Room was of a good size and very comfortable even though the bright green walls were a little disconcerting at first. The ability to make a hot drink in the room would have made it ideal.

Enough space for parking
Very very find steps, enough space for parking as free, good quality breakfast and secure elevator. I really enjoyed this hotels with my family. I'll absolutely revisit here. But it was little bit nosy due to the sound of the air conditioner and there was no refrigerator in the room.

Slightly overpriced, standard Ibis
Typical Ibis. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A little worn for a Styles but nothing exceptionally good or bad. Not a great location, up a hill in the suburbs of Besancon away from the historic centre, but quiet at least. Small pool was welcome on a hot day. Breakfast was standard Styles, enough of everything and all well prepared. Dinner is not recommended. No vegetarian options to speak of. We were exhausted so we didn't have much of a choice but I'd recommend eating elsewhere. Bathroom had the annoying French shower that always soaks the whole room ankle deep.

An goodnight-stop, but don't go "demi-pension"
One of the better Ibis hotels. Modern and well maintained, the hotel offered a fairly spacious room with a good sized shower room. Service in the restaurant was good, but I was disappointed in the "demi-pension" arrangement, which I had booked through Hotels.com. At most hotels "demi-pension" guests choose from the main menu, but as one would expect, more expensive dishes attract a supplement. But as soon as the staff saw the "demi-pension" card I was given on check in, the main menu was taken away, and I was given a special "demi-pension" menu which was very limited, and excluded most of the more desirable options, including those that I would have chosen and for which I'd have been prepared to pay extra. This meant that the "demi-pension" option represented very poor value. I shall use this hotel again as a night-stop on my way to Switzerland but I shall avoid the "demi-pension" offering, and I recommend others do likewise.

Fabulous hotel
We stopped at this hotel overnight on our holiday journey but would have been happy to stay there longer. The room was fabulous, clean and welcoming. The free breakfast was probably the best breakfast we had on our whole trip. Free tea and coffee in the lobby. Staff excellent Cant recommend more.

A little far from the city center, but you can go almost every touristic place within 20 to 25 minutes by bus and tram. The cleaning service was great, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Everything was satisfied overall.

Pleasant hotel with fitness facilities
I was staying in Besançon for a business trip and chose this hotel as it had a fitness suite, with an exercise bike and a treadmill. Although there were only the two machines, I found they were free most evenings and did the job just fine! The hotel also has a sauna and an outdoor pool. The room itself was fine, clean and spacious. My only gripe would be that the loo is separate to the bathroom and doesn't have a sink in there, which I find really unhygienic... but this is quite common in France in general. The staff I encountered were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I didn't sample any of the food there, so couldn't comment on that. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fine Hotel 15 minutes from centre
We booked a night in the hotel as a stopover on the way to the Alps. It was an ideal choice. Staff were excellent and the room was comfortable, Good breakfast options. It is also an interesting town for a day or two visit. Hotel location was a short walk from the town centre but parking was therefore freely available.

Ibis Styles is great!!! Family friendly as well.
Very nice hotel for a stopover. Children friendly. Plenty of car park. Would definitely stay again. It was our first time in Ibis Styles chain...so next time we see an Ibis Styles again, would definitely stay independently of the place.

Great, quiet hotel outside the downtown area.
Highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with a car. Breakfast was delightful and we enjoyed the quirky charm and style of this hotel. 25 minute walk to downtown and free parking.
