The hotel lobby is very nice and seems clean. Unfortunately when I arrived to check in around 11:25pm, there was no one at the front desk. I waited around, made multiple efforts to reach someone on the phone, knocked on the office door, sent messages through the Expedia app, and wandered the halls for something like 30 minutes in total. Finally after walking back from the other end of the lobby, I saw someone at the front desk (wearing a giant puffy coat like they'd just come in from outside??). At that point I was exhausted after my 11 hour drive and so weirded out by the whole experience that I no longer felt comfortable staying there, so I asked if I could get a refund. The front desk person said no, since I booked through Expedia, I could only get a refund through Expedia. I said thank you and left. Turns out the front desk person was mistaken, as Expedia now says only the hotel could refund me, and I'm stuck paying for a room I didn't get to use. So that's a thing. I imagine that if you arrive at this hotel early, and absolutely nothing goes wrong such that you need staff to help you, it's probably a nice place to stay. I wouldn't know, I booked a second hotel and left at 11:57pm, at least 30 minutes after I arrived.
