A lovely B&B, the hosts were great, nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing, catered for my gluten and lactose intolerances. Would highly recommend.

Gem of a guest house!
What a fantastic place! Ease of parking, met by a friendly host that made us feel right at home and welcomed. Place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Had a great sleep with everything we needed in our room and breakfast the next morning was exceptional! House is a a short stroll into Betws y coed but we were given recommendation from Sean about where to eat and drink and all great places. We will be back!

Glyntwrog House
Stayed here for 2 nights as we were touring the area on motorbike. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and I must admit the breakfast was amazing! I would definitely recommend this hotel, excellent value for money. 😊

Second visit- stayed 7 nights. Bed comfortable, bedding and shower spotless. Toiletries, fresh milk and bottled water provided and replenished constantly. Extensive breakfast menu, served promptly and tasting delicious! Hosts friendly and welcoming.

A superb B & B
I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful B & B. The owners were extremely welcoming and our room was stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast options were superb and the food excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.

Thank you very much Alison & Steve for a lovely stay, I run a Norwich Social Adventure group and we visit Wales several times each year. You have a great first-class B&B in a fantastic location. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed & clean en-suite bath/shower room. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice, the dinning area was nicely spaced out with great views of the gardens and wildlife. If this wasn’t enough your attention to detail and customer service is second to none. You are both perfect hosts, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, thank you once again for a great stay, I fully recommend your B&B and will stay again.

Lovely Place too stay
Lovely hotel, lovely owners who couldn't do enough to help you with great knowledge of the area. Room were great and had loads of sockets for plugs and phones/tablets. Room had a great view and was cleaned everyday,with plenty of tea and coffee. Also we were left chocolats, biscuits and fresh water everyday. Beautiful place,in a beautiful location with lovely owners. Definitely recommend it and go back.

Our first guesthouse stay but not our last
Stayed here for two nights and had an excellent stay. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area giving advise of things to do etc if you need it. The rooms are clean with all the amenities you can need and more. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to choose from with both hot & cold options and you could tell the use local products. The location is within walking distance of Betws-y-coed village and well placed for visiting zip world too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

Wonderful! We will be back.
We went to Snowdonia in August for a hiking holiday and loved our 3 nights at Glyntwrog House. Spotless rooms, comfy beds and delicious breakfasts! The owners are the perfect hosts, very helpful with advice but not overly attentive. They let you do your own thing. We enjoyed the location, close to town but far enough away that the B&B is very peaceful and quiet. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Gem of a B&B
Alison and Steve were exceptional hosts throughout our 4 night stay, very welcoming and friendly, they have covered everything in these very challenging times of COVID-19, adhereing to all rules and regulations. A beautiful house in a lovely location, just on the outskirts of the village with car parking on site and an outdoor seating area. Our room and ensuite (no. 2) was spacious and spotlessly clean with a stunning view of the garden and valley, all amenities in the room are of very high standard, including a charging station for mobiles. The breakfast was decicious, with plenty of choice on both the hot and the cold menu. A wonderful B&B made all the nicer by the thoughtful way it is ran by Alison and Steve, we can highly recommend staying here and we definitely will if back in the area. Paul and Amanda

A gem of a place
The B&B was wonderful. The room was beautifully appointed, having everything one needs for a terrific stay and the bonus of a great view. The breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Alison and Steve were amazing hosts. Nothing was too much effort - from giving great advice about places to see and routes to take to booking lovely local restaurants. A real find.

I cannot reccomend this guest house highly enough, we had such a lovely stay! We had a very warm welcome from the owners/hosts Steve and Allison were so kind and generous, they offered us any assistance we needed as well as local tips and recommendations for dinner. The room was very cosy, comfortable and warm with tea and coffee supplied, the breakfast was also fantastic and plentiful. We wish we stayed longer.

We booked here as a convenience for a one night stay but it was a wonderful choice in an area that turned out to be fantastic. The owners of this guesthouse are great and everything has been a pleasant surprise. Would book here again if we were to pass through here.

Very friendly owners. Lovely views and location, car-parking available on site. Lovely breakfast room with personal touches such as: a fridge containing fresh milk and little jugs to take the milk to your room (instead of using the UHT pots), guests can also use the fridge to chill their own stuff, bottled tap water, complimentary sweets and nuts, extra tea and coffee bits available. Outside seating available with lovely views. Our room was good, small but cosy, the bedsheets were really soft and comfortable. Very clean. Everything you need in the room. Brilliant breakfast menu, with a wide variety of choices from a full cooked breakfast to porridge/kippers etc. Very tasty. I cannot fault this B&B, fully recommended.

Alison and Steve were fantastic hosts throughout our two night stay. The room was very well decorated and had all the amenities you could ask for. We particularly appreciated the charging station for all your tech, the fan and the perfectly drinkable bottled tap water. The breakfast was very well done with plenty of hot breakfast options and cereals and fruit. This was a fantastic location for a short walk into betws-y-coed where we caught the bus to mount Snowdon. Overall a very lovely stay which was incredibly peaceful. Thank you.

Wonderful Stay Glyntwrog House

Brilliant guesthouse. Helpful, welcoming hosts.
The owners of this guesthouse really make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is very comfortable and is ideally placed for a short walk into Betws-y-Coed. It is a few minutes by car to Zip World Fforest. The breakfast is special prepared to order. You really can have a great full English breakfast in Wales! If we visit the area again I will certainly book this guesthouse.

The guest house is on a hillside (just above the main road), surrounded by much greenery. The room was immaculate and clean, lovely decor (as indeed was the entire guest house), with tea/coffee making facilities. Our room on the top floor may be considered small, but it didn't bother us as everything else was excellent. There is a fridge in the common lounge area for guests and fresh milk available. There's everything for everyone in the breakfast menu. Alison and Stephen are most welcoming and helpful (with tips on places to visit, etc.). Will come again.

Place very clean, very welcoming and food is good. Area is nice and quiet, natural fresh air. Walking distance to local shops and surrounding views are stunning.

Cozy place to stay in the forest
Allison and Steve were great hosts, very attentive and made us feel welcomed. Our room was lovely and quiet, a bit smaller but that’s part of the charm of staying in an older building. The Inn was just a short walk to a lot of good food options and we were advised to walk down to the second bridge by Allison which we did with no regrets even in the rain. The village is quite lovely and Glyntwrog House was a cozy place to come back to after a rainy walk. Breakfast was quite good after a good night’s sleep on a comfortable bed. You should drive up to the door to unload your bags before parking down below just due to the steepness of the driveway.

We had a wonderful stay and the hosts were absolutely terrific Alison and Steve. The location is fantastic and we would go back in a heartbeat. We highly recommend Glyntwrog House.
