I don't know if all the Postcard rooms are laid out the same way, but ours had the shower/bathroom sink in an upstairs loft area, and the toilet in a separate small closet downstairs near the bed and desk. "Hotel is perfectly located to explore the city centre in foot. Parking is expensive but worth it for the location - can be reserved but we had no problem getting a space without reserving. They were happy for us to park a lot earlier than check in time. Room clean & comfortable with spacious bathroom."

"Great staff at reception staff, teeny tiny elevator and stairs are even smaller and quite dark. Firm bed, large room with a view of the back neighborhood. Bathroom ok - shower in the tub thin towels, no magnifying mirror. Bottled water ( refillable) available at no charge from reception. Super close to train station! "

"A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). Only talked to an attendant with whats app, you mat have a problem if you don't have the app. It ia close to the train station, about 5-10 minutes. A lot of stores and restaurants near by.
