"Front desk and wait staff was amazing! The views in the Chateau are beautiful. We felt so safe walking around at night. The food was amazing. The staff even gave us a lot of tips and recommendations about the area as we are tourists from the US. Moe was exceptional, she gave me parking hacks around the train station. "The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was good. However there is nothing else around. We were on our way to La Rochelle and it was a good stop off point for one night. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Parking very easy and just of the autoroute"

"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. "Basic at best. Location is on the outskirts of town in a petrol station. Bit of a walk (15min) into the town. Breakfast was really poor. There was no lighting as overhead lights had failed. (I did see people working on them the previous night, but obviously did not fix them). We had cycled from London to Paris. No bike storage, but staff said we could keep them stored in a conference room downstairs. "

"A pretty misleading description on Expedia. I do not recommend this for families that want to book the room with bunks. The bathroom is shared, there was no soap, hand sanitizer or toilet seat cleaner. It was loud, we had no pillows in our room and the floor was covered in cracker/food crumbs. The garden area was overgrown and full of garbage. And there were stray cats everywhere. We booked 2 nights, stayed for 1 and booked another hotel not too far away."

However prior to arrival message advised that the shuttle didn’t run between 12 noon to 5:30pm and we were due in at 4pm! So had to find alternative transport to hotel.
