"Gorgeous historic property right in the national forest on a lake. It felt like we were part of a special Irish tradition staying there. The thermal suite was outstanding and we loved every minute of our stay. This was our favorite spot of our whole trip."

"The staff was so helpful and friendly. My husband needed an eye doctor unexpectedly and they were able to assist us early in the morning. The Spa was fantastic, we used the facilities every day. We lived it. And the room was so very nice. They even had both a blow dryer and flat iron for your hair. Loved it."

"Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful during heatwave. No AC anywhere in this hotel so sleeping was an issue..Felt the room was lacking small things like a face cloth or decent water glasses. The tub shower was dangerously slippery - not good for 2 seniors. Also found it very interesting that the hairdryer and iron were basically bolted down. Never seen that before anywhere. "

"Great comfortable stay, only quirk was the expectation that the key was to be given to the lobby staff when you leave the hotel for outings. The key is very big and has a 75 euro deposit. Not a big deal when the staff are not busy with attending the bar/other guests. Breakfast was decent."

"The Killarney Townhouse is affiliated with the Grand Southern Hotel which is where car parking currently is. The Grand Southern staff was very helpful bringing our luggage to the Townhouse!
