I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well. "So this property is in bad need of a renovation. The carpets of the rooms looks like they’re from the 70s. Still, the doors are very old as well. The windows were rickity and there was construction next door with heavy machinery creating a lot of noise. In the end, we did not stay here. We did ask to cancel and for a refund, but we’ve heard nothing back from the management. My recommendation is find somewhere else to stay."

"For my first B&B experience, Crystal Springs blew me out of the water. When I arrived I was greeted by Harvey, a big sweetie of a dog, and then the hostess, who was the most lovely woman. The breakfast each day was so filling, warm, and delicious; the fruit salad and soda bread were my favorite additions to my smoked salmon toast each morning. The room was pristine, the whole facility clean and beautiful, and it was such a great stay. I will definitely stay there again during my next trip! "

"We are a family of 4 who spent 3 nights at this facility. We were outdoors most of the day and only used it to sleep in the night. We also didn’t cook although the facility has a kitchen. The pros - perfect location and decent size for a family. A number of restaurants are in walkable distance. The cons - the wifi/ internet never worked. The parking was a bit weird and tight. Most of the spaces were filled up and extreme caution is required to park in the corner spots. Lastly, the beds were...
