"The ground floor room was comfortable and adequate for our two night stay. There was some traffic noise from the busy main road, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where there are frequent buses into the city centre."

"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed.
Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry.
Room was really homely and clean.
Hotel has a car park onsite.
I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them."

"Nice setting / location. A little disappointed the rooms don’t have AC .. it was 30c during our stay and the supplied room fans were ineffective in cooling the overheated room down.
Also, £660 for 2 nights stay is double standard charge….. capitalising on the Moto GP at Silverstone …."
"We stayed for one night after a concert, staff were welcoming, room was clean and there was a fan which was great as it was a warm night. Breakfast was included and was just what you would expect, great stay."
"We stayed for the MotoGP in Silverstone. A lot of closer hotels were booked obviously and I remembered this placed. I’m glad we were slightly away from circuit as there was a lot of amenities close by like a big Tesco and Bicester village was 5 minutes drive.
On arrival the staff were professional and courteous and gave us a lot of information. The hotel was spacious and I liked the decor. The room was clean and had HOOKS on the walls which were really useful. The room was very clean and fresh. The bedding was clean and smelt nice. The beds were comfy. Only stayed one night so it was everything I needed. Only slight blot was there was a coffee stain on the floor that wasn’t cleared up but it is due to the fact that the drinks making materials are based on a shelf were things could fall off easily.
In short, great place to stay with loads of parking and easy access to major roadways."
"Everything was superb from start to finish.
Luckily, my room was ready as we came a little bit early so they let us in which was really nice.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and everything you need.
I was on the seventh floor and the reviews were superb.
Breakfast in the morning slightly limited, but they did make me my poached eggs and vegetarian sausages separately, which was good.
I didn’t use the gym it’s small with some eco-friendly looking machines but it’s good for what it needs to be if you want a quick workout.
Only downside was I ordered a tuna sandwich for room Service which was pretty disappointing as it was £17 for a very thin layer of tuna in service
I would definitely stay again when in Milton Keynes."
"The hotel was lovely with a welcoming atmosphere. The location was an ideal base for exploring the local attractions. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet with very comfortable beds. Housekeeping was daily which was lovely. Food was very good with an excellent breakfast, spoilt for choice including options for those with allergies/intolerances. I have allergies to soya, cow’s dairy, egg and beef which is a real challenge for me, especially when eating out. The waiters and chef could not have been more helpful in accommodating me which I really appreciated. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."
"This is a lovely hotel, very nice everything !
From Staff ,food, rooms, free parking
It has a lovely conservatory overlooking a nice large courtyard to sit out in
Could not fault anything
It is about 8 miles from the centre in a small village"
"Fantastic location and surroundings
Was disappointed with our room for tha fact we upgraded with a pet with us
To find out we didn’t get our upgrade because pets were not allowed in that side of the hotel
So
Single beds which I was very disappointed with
But the front desk could give us a free breakfast
But to be honest, would rather a double bed I ordered
But all in all staff are fantastic
Easy parking
Clean room
Beautiful place to visit"
