"AC had very bad smell and I had to check out after 1 hour cause room got so warm and couldn’t turn AC on cause of smell. No window to open for fresh air also bed was dirty and I saw a bug in it."

"The inn is a bit dated and in need of cosmetic repairs like painting and carpet replacement. There were also some minor issues that need attention like the toilet paper holder was loose and needed a minor repair. Overall our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was basic but very good. For our needs the inn was close to the location of the wedding we attended and it was close to restaurants, downtown Orillia and other local attractions."

"The owner's and staff are lovely people. Everything is kept clean & tidy; indoors and out. The location and view is excellent. I loved the unique quality of their small shop that offerred up free access to books, games and even a Magic 8 Ball for fun; as well as, affordable jewellery, incense and curios. "The Window in the room was broken and didn’t lock, or have a screen..not safe with kids or safe feeling and the bathroom door doesn’t lock or close. It was clean though and the kids liked swimming."

"Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out. Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff."

"Je suis vraiment déçu d’avoir payé pour 2 nuits d’avance sur expedia. Le personnel lors du check-in était incompétent et aucunement à l’écoute des besoins de leurs clients. Quality inn de Barrie c’est vraiment un endroit que je ne conseille pas à personne et surtout pas aux familles en déménagement dans le cadre de leur emploi. Le dévouement n’est pas au rendez-vous, tel qu’ils affiche en toutes lettres dans leur espace d’accueil de l’hôtel."

"I normally don't post reviews but decided to post one on this occasion because I felt that some of the negative reviews were deceiving. I stayed on the 2nd floor of the 4 story part of the Hotel. Nice room that was well equipped and clean. Friendly staff. The pool and exercise room were a little small but a nice bonus and welcomed addition. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, but there was one that was functioning on the first floor. The biggest surprise was the breakfast. Great...

"Wi Fi is too complicated for guests. Used the Exact password as provided and only got error messages. Had to take my laptop to the front desk to get it straightened out."
