"No hot water the first night, black hair in the bathtub and I am a blonde and the room was filthy. I think it basically got completely skipped from prior guests. I even left a day early very nice staff that helped as much as they could with the hot water and as quickly as they could. And I do understand that the electricity goes off a lot in Big Bear and then you have to flip a switch but he had said the electricity went off a whole day prior and they should have known. "The house was very beautiful and check in/out was very accommodating. Fireplace and home was clean and had enough pans to cook as well as cups / forks knives and seasonings which was a plus.
Just a few things that we had issues with ;
ceilings upstairs were sloped where the beds were so my husband kept banging his head. If you’re trying to be quiet upstairs you cannot because the floors creak really bad but that’s common in the cold for hardwood floors.
