"We reserved the family cottage with loft. The layout was great and my daughter loved the bunk beds/ cubbies to hang out in and sleep. Love that dogs can stay free. Nice bathroom. The living room area was pretty sparse, the seating was not very comfy. Walls were thin so you could hear rooms around you. Overall we were happy since it was a unique setup and clean and well located."

"The resort is undergoing a lot of construction, which is normal and not a big deal to us. Its very pretty, clean, and the location is amazing and the beds were cozy.
However we called ahead to make sure they had AC, because of health issues, and they said they did. When our rooms AC didnt work, they refused to move us to another room/cabin or unit that did have a working one. They also would not give us a credit back or refund saying its bevause we booked through a 3rd party. We were...

"When you first arrive you go into a “lobby” and pick up an envelope with your name on it no one is there to great you or answer any questions at check in.
We stayed in a one bedroom and loft cabin. The beds were comfy but I would say a bit small.
When we first arrived it was supper hot had to open all the upstairs window and plug in the fans to get the room cooled down.
There is a heather and fire place down stairs but upstairs does not have heating not the best for my little ones.

"We were mostly out all day so it was a simple room and very bare. It was right across from downtown so it was within walking distance of food and bars. We were told there would be no linen but there were no pillows for the bed either. For the price it was what you would expect."

"Room 22 was clean, rather noisy though. It could do with new carpet, it’s rather old & worn. Refrigerator, Microwave and TV were all great! Didn’t use the fireplace, it was a new ce option to have if needed. Would have preferred a ground floor room though!!
Easy area to walk around in. Appreciate that it’s pet-friendly, especially that they don’t overcharge as many of the other places are way too expensive! That was the main reason why we chose Fireside Lodge
I want to say the staff were...
