"I was presently surprised to learn the Heritage and History of the place and had no clue that famed racing driver Carrol Shelby and Dave Witts were the founders. Staff was awesome. There was a nice hiking trail right behind our cabin. Would definitely recommend."

"My family and I had a great time. The rooms were very clean and the staff was nice and helpful."

"Clean room until we tracked in sand. A rug at the door or a room to sweep up would be helpful. Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well. Bring your own hairdryer. Shops and gas nearby. Close to Big Bend National Park."

"The property is at an amazing location!!! The room was huge and clean. Never got to see the pool area. The breakfast too a little long to get and place the order as well.. I asked for bacon and never got it. The front desk clerk was attentive the lady at the breakfast location was a little slow at her job but everything was great!!"

"I had stayed at that hotel several times before and it was very good, but on this occasion, the carpet was very dirty and the air conditioning wasn't working properly."
