"Reception was nice and warm, but the overnight experience was truly haunting. From 3AM to 6AM, I was kept awake by a mysterious voice — a middle-aged male mumbling in Spanish, punctuated by occasional "hahaha", with zero pauses, zero replies, as if no one was on the other end. No conversation, just endless one-sided rambling into the void. I checked — no TV, no phone call could explain this. I can only assume this hotel was once a tomb complex for the locals. Would not recommend if you value your sleep — or your sanity."

"Hotel room was dated, smelly, and growing mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. One of our beds blankets had food on it when we arrived which tells me they did not change our bedding. The pool was cloudy and dirty. People were shouting outside our window at 11pm drunk. Do not stay here."

"Staff was nice but being memorial weekend you’d expect an up and ready hotel with all amenities in full force….pool in good working condition, room numbers with correct placards. Remotes without tape, plugged in tv with tv channels available with English channels. Functioning door handles and locks that make you feel secure were under expectations. Subpar breakfast choices and the halls smelled like drowning effects of cologne that makes me want to vomit. Do better la Quinta, your hotels are always my number 1 choice anywhere"
