A basic motel that showed some signs of age and wear but it was very clean, comfortable, and at a good price . Nice staff, good location in the small town, and I appreciated the amenities the room had. I would stay here again if in the area.

We were there to hike the big pine and this place is right by the entrance of glacier lodge rd to the hiking trail, not to mention its also a gas station and family mart all-in-one. I just feel like the place is perfect for what I need. I honestly don’t feel like it was loud at all cause I slept like a baby (maybe I was tired haha). Parking is free and if you are lucky, you get to park in front of your room. I would stay here again if I come back to the area.

The Bristlecone Motel is a great inexpensive place to recover from your adventures on Highway 395. The amenities include a TV monitor, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the AC/Heater unit gave us some cool air and white noise to make our sleep restful. The friendly staff are found in the gas station next door and the parking is close your room. I would recommend this hotel if you need a decent crash pad.

Hoteis around here are expensive for what you get. This was a basic no frills room, it was comfortable for a 1-2 night stay. It was clean and easy to check in and park. The store where you check in has a decent selection of food for a quick breakfast if in the run headed to a hike. Quick grab and go.

A great example of why never to judge a book by its cover. I've passed by this motel several times on the highway and didn't think much of it, but have now found my new go to stay for work in the area. Staff is kind and helpful, and the place is incredibly clean and comfortable. The wifi is also great, as well as the local discounts at restaurants! Will be trying the bbq next time!

The rooms had a lot of space and were very well kept. The parking was easy, and there were always spaces. The staff was always friendly and helpful no matter the time of day.

Great motel that gave us access to the Big Pine trailhead. Room was lovely, but AC and some lights weren’t working that well. Bonus that we got a discount at a BBQ joint for staying here.
