"This is a perfectly serviceable airport hotel, one of two major ones very near the Bilbao airport. Fairly basic compared to a "fancy" hotel in the city, and (like 99% of European hotels) lacking washcloths. But, comfy beds, quiet rooms, an excellent breakfast spread, a decent bar, and really a short ride to the city. What's not to love? The airport shuttle starts at 5 a.m. and has limited capacity. But, the staff is well aware of the early morning flight schedule to get everyone there in plenty...

"Vi blev uppgraderade till ett lite större rum. Väldigt fina rum, tyst, bra säng, stort badrum. Lite mörkt i badrummet och det hade varit skönt med golvvärme eller att man hade fått tofflor. Saknade även en s k sminkspegel. Annars bra hårtork! Bra med serverad frukost. Trevlig liten bar. Restaurangen var verkligen bra! Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal över lag. "

"Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great!
