"We stayed in the boutique rooms just around the corner of the hotel and it is very clean and elegant, and staff is amazingly caring. We were welcomed and take care of by Cassey who was extremely professional and sweat. The room was very beautiful with windows giving you a full view of the beach and promenade in front, while keeping all the noise out. The facilities in the room were prefect. Founded in 588 BC, Apollonia was a significant trading port and cultural centre for about 50,000 people, many of whom settled here from nearby Corfu. Today the site is still undergoing excavation so there isn't tons and tons to see. This particular building isn't original to the site but was made from materials found on the site and has been modified many times since its creation as a monastery in the 13th century.
