"Very decent place to stay. Nothing extravagant, but the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I stayed here for its close proximity to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, which was just a few minutes walk down the Great Allegheny Passage that passes right in front of the hotel. You can also walk the trail for great views of the Potomac River and other scenery. The pool was on the smaller side and I couldn’t get the hot tub to work, but my husband and I were the only ones using it at the time...

"The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Levi Mansion B & B. It was a short stay but Denise took very good care of us. We would definitely recommend staying here. "

"Property driveway and parking area not plowed after winter storm earlier in the day, and still not plowed the next morning. My car was stuck in the driveway. No staff at the front desk in the morning. I found a snow shovel in the entrance and dug unsuccessfully for an hour until a random passing snowplow (not contracted with the motel) took pity on me, cleared a path, and the driver helped me push my car out. Appalling."
