"The individual room needs updated! We had a balcony suite and all we could see was trees and solar panels! We noticed rooms where being worked on. Noisy! Staff not real friendly except for the door men.
The outlets to plug in phones, etc where in terrible condition! Will probably not return to this hotel as it wasn't worth the price we paid."

"We decided last minute to go to Dahlonega just for one night. We decided on The Smith House because it was in town and we could walk wherever we wanted to go.
The room was a king room in the lodge but did not have a balcony like the ones in front. We had a small window that faced the parking garage. The parking was ok. With all the weddings and parties we were able to get a good spot. The room was very comfortable. The only bad thing was that the shower stopper would not stay up so my...

"The staff were extremely helpful in sharing things to do in the area. We only stayed one night and the room was clean and the area was so quiet. We plan on staying here every time we visit Dahlonega!"

"We booked this stay for our anniversary, and the experience was very disappointing.
At check-in, we were told there was no parking near our building due to events and were directed to a distant grass lot. We were also charged an unexpected $39 “lodge fee” that wasn’t disclosed at booking.
The desk clerk gave us incorrect directions to our room. After walking around with our luggage and carrying it up stairs (no elevator), we still couldn’t find it. Calls to the office went unanswered....
