"Palmera inn is one of the best values on Hilton head for what you get. The king balcony room was huge with two full bathrooms, living area, balcony, and kitchenette. Their location is just minutes to everything and they even allowed us to check ins couple hours early which was nice! We don’t even get to use all the amenities this place had as we only stayed one night. They also provide a breakfast in the morning which does get quite busy but there is enough space to make it doable. I would...

"Overall stay was nice. Pool was terrific with exception of bar service. Only one person working every day at bar. Wait times were excessive.
Room was spacious but walls are thin. We could here person in room next to us snoring at night which was troublesome to sleep."

"I feel like I was deceived upon searching and reading on expedia.com this hotel seemed very clean and convenient for what I needed. I was traveling with 2 year old toddler and upon arrival the room did not have a microwave, the room’s air conditioning temperature was very warm, the refrigerator was not working and the room’s floor had hair on the corners and crevices of the bathroom. Also did not like that the hotel is not all enclosed. As soon as you get out of your room your outside.

"I made the mistake of booking a room thinking that all the rooms had balconies overlooking the beach, like the main pictures. It turned out that the Double bed room we'd booked was just a small, motel-like room with two beds and one chair and the only window was to the walkway by the door. It was our own fault, and I knew it was non-refundable when I booked it. And neither we nor Expedia could get them to budge with even a partial refund when we left early.
