"The Wingate has gone downhill from our previous year's stay. To start, the elevator had a questionable aroma. The hallway carpets were dirty, stitched together, and had bleach stains. "Dalvonta at the front desk was one of the best customer service people ive ever encountered. From check in, during the stay, till check out. Ive been in customer service my entire life. I'm 48. "Breakfast was great; many choices. Staff always helpful and friendly. Wednesday night offered free drinks & dinner! The room was large, but one bed had an old mattress :(. The property is a bit old, but is well maintained. Our only complaint is that there was not daily room service. Towels did not dry unless I left the bathroom light/ fan on 24/7. I was able to pick up a clean set of towels from the front desk, but went 2 days in a row without room service & piles of wet towels on the floor....
