"The inn was very lovely with nice surroundings and clean rooms. It was bit odd to have a chair place adjacent to the gas fireplace but since it was so warm out the fireplace was not used. The bed was comfy, the ground pretty and the location very quiet."

"Cute little cottage overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed our stay from the moment we were greeted by the friendly and hospitable front desk agent. Our room was comfortable. "This is the most amazing place! The food is divine, breakfast was brought to our room each morning after submitting our order, we each had a california eggs benedict, pastries, parfaits and fresh coffee. The beach is 5 minutes walk from your room. The garden is stunning! Dinner was incredibly delicious and the setting so romantic and beautiful. Highly highly recommend Elk Cove Inn we will be coming back again! "

"This house in the trees is absolutely wonderful. The hosts are amazing - warm and welcoming to the max plus very accommodating and lovely to talk to on the phone. Our stay was too short but hopefully there'll be a next time. We will definitely stay here again if we're visiting Sea Ranch or Gualala. I highly recommend The Beacon up in the Redwoods."

"This is a very nice house in a good location. Most people would probably be happy with it. But it's different than the Sea Ranch houses we have rented at Sea Ranch over the decades. Though well equipped with dishware, there is not single spice (even salt and pepper), no foil or wrap, and a lack of useful items that you may not think of ahead of time. It feels a bit barren, and that was not helped when we asked for a later checkout and got a text back a few minutes later, even though it was late...
