"We got a suite and it felt incredibly dingy and worn out. There were marks on the walls and parts of the carpet had snagged and ripped. The layout was very weird and it looked as if it was missing furniture and there were some dents in the walls.
I mentioned it to staff and the girl I spoke to indicated that it was just an old room that needed the furniture to be replaced (apparently happening this fall). There was no offer of going to a different room or having housekeeping visit.

"The hotel is no frills and in a great location. The room was not ready for check-in at three and the staff was unhelpful and seemingly unbothered by the line of guests wanting their rooms. We finally got into our room about 90 minutes after the advertised check-in time with water bottles and granola bars as a 'sorry for the wait' bag."

"Beautiful location that was private and quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable. Hosts were responsive. Microwave and full fridge- stop by the market before you arrive so you can spend your time kayaking in the lake or reading outside on the deck or porch. Murphy bed in the living room was excellent for extra guests. If you are looking for a chill place book it now!!"
