"My stay at Montenegro Lodge wasn’t without its challenges, albeit very minor ones. On the first day we discovered that the door didn’t lock, so we had limited security. "The room is located right next to a very loud bar that goes on until the early hours of the morning. The beds are two sofas and the decor is a little outdated. Everything else was amazing. The host was incredible. He bought us coffee a few times in the cafe outside, he booked us on a boat tour and he was very informative. "

"DO NOT BOOK! Hotel is closed down. I’m writing this to ensure that no one else books this place, as Hotels.com has so far refused to pull this listing. The hotel does not exist. I spent nearly 3 hrs in the dark trying to find this place. Eventually, I did find the address, only to be yelled at in Serbian by a poor woman who now owns this as her home. If you book, you will be stranded. "

"We booked this apartment because of the balcony views... whilst it was super hot during the afternoon, it was definitely worth it. The location is ideal right next to the lake and only a 20minute walk away from old town. The restaurant next door is delicious - we would have loved to have eaten there more but there were so many options near by! All of the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. "

"The apartments were easy to find and in a perfect location. Beautifully located along the edge of the water and just a 15 minute walk from the old city, Kotor. Also, within walking distance is a shopping mall, supermarket, and plenty of bars, cafes, and places to eat.
