"Beautifully appointed property in lovely quiet residential neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the harbor, Stearns Wharf, State Street ( which is largely pedestrianized). The whole of the downtown is bike friendly also. Beach cruiser bikes are provided by the hotel as well. Would definitely recommend a stay here "

"We were upgraded from a standard king room to a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious and the staff had a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us in the fridge. The free breakfast and happy hour were both appreciated as well. The bed was super comfortable and we slept very well. Despite being on a busy corner the hotel felt very private and was quiet. "Hotel is a 1.8 mile straight shot down State Street to the waterfront, where we spent most of our time. It wasn’t convenient to go back to the hotel between activities so proximity might be a concern for guests for whom a lot of walking is a consideration. "Let me say that I really really like this hotel. The outdoor space is so fun, the location is one block off of State Street, the rooms are nicely done, and I can bring my dog! There is easy parking right next door (you have to pay, but cheap for Santa Barbara). I like using my phone as a room key. The room is well appointed and has little touches like a wine bottle opener.
