Top Mystic Hotel Reviews
Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton
8/10 Good
"For a motel, it was comfortable and clean. We didn't go to the pool, but we went to the breakfast twice. What was surprising was that there was a limited hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and chicken sausages (which was pretty good). The room was clean. Although the staffs don't make beds often, but if you ask them to make the beds, they will make it every other day. If you leave your towels and garbage in the hallway, they will change them daily. You need to ask for the ice bucket in the front desk. We got complimentary bottles of water. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little too soft. The chair was too hard. When I sat on it too long, the bottom became numb. (Maybe changing the chair would be better). Also, this was the first motel that didn't have drawers, which was disappointing. We made do with what we had. The breakfast was pretty good. I like the rocking chairs. We were able to use the breakfast room to wait for our Amtrak train back to NY. The location was close to Olde Mistick, Mystic Aquarium, Seaport Museum, and Downtown Mystic. There were many restaurants near the motel as well. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for our 2 families of 7. Our families enjoyed our stay here at Spark by Hilton!!"

Residence Inn by Marriott Mystic Groton
10/10 Excellent
"The room was perfect for traveling with older “kids.” There were two nice sized bedrooms, each with a bath. The living area was a nice size as well with acute little kitchen. Everything was comfortable and clean. It’s not luxurious, but the room was beautifully furnished and comfortable for 4 people over 18. For the price, I would absolutely recommend a stay. We enjoyed our time there."
House of 1833 Bed & Breakfast & Gardens
10/10 Excellent
"Evan was an amazingly delightful host. A wonderfully fascinating home that was lovingly taken care of over the years. The gardens are stunning, and the breakfast was divine. An absolute must stay in Mystic, Connecticut!"

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Mystic?
The biggest difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Mystic is the standard of service and access to creature comforts. Three-star hotels are usually more pocket-friendly and offer the services and amenities required to be comfortable, such as a gym, WiFi and breakfast. You can look forward to a bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upscale interiors, luxury bathroom products and extra touches like on-site spa centres.
