"We liked the location right on the Plaza which was close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, there were some homeless people just outside the entrance both days that we stayed here. the hotel is very old and the rooms are quite small but it has a quaint vibe. The coffee shop was okay, not great."

"We loved the Matriarch room. Beautiful property. For some reasons, no one set up the breakfast for two of our three mornings. We had to change our plans and pay for breakfast off property. It is within walking distance of the shops. This place is a good option in Taos."
