Penebel Hotel Guide - 3 Stars Hotels in Penebel, Bali

The hotel is a small one but all of the rooms are very unique and most have stunning views of the surrounding rice fields and mountains. It is a very quiet, rural area - far from the noise of the main tourist towns and beaches. We felt we had found the ".....real Bali....". You will need to hire a taxi or scooter to get around but the hotel will sort both out for you. There isn't anywhere to walk - this really is set in the rice fields, which does mean you have to eat in the hotel. But the...

Amazing stay at Kahayana. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The room was fresh and clean! The hotel arranged an airport pick-up with the best driver Kadek, who took us on day trips in Ubud and surrounding area.

This was our first visit to Bali and we were not sure what to expect. For an extra fee, the hotel arranged our transfer and the driver was waiting at the airport on our arrival. The hotel is on one of the main streets leading into Ubud centre and during our stay the street frontage was under construction. Our first impression was one of dismay, but once off the street the Sapodilla is a welcoming oasis of green and calm. We stayed in one of the garden suites which was comfortable and clean with...

A moderately priced gem. The room, with a terrace overlooking the rice paddies, a comfortable bed, attentive service, clean professional and friendly. We could not want more

A lovely hotel with great staff. My room was exactly as described, with the usual amenities. A good location, 8 minute walk to the Back Door of the Yoga Barn, and there is also another yoga studio 5 minute walk away (Lumeria Yoga).

Very nice Friendly staff Very convenient

Stayed at The Menzel for 3 nights in total — one night in the basic room and two nights in the Garden Private Plunge Pool room. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We were given vouchers for lunch, wine, and dinner, and since we were hungry after arriving, we decided to eat there that evening. I had the crispy duck and honestly, it was one of the best meals I’ve had. We also received some lovely welcome treats, which was a really nice touch. The...

Had an amazing stay here. All the staff were lovely and super helpful. They got to know my name and it made me feel really welcomed. It was a nice touch for someone who was travelling solo. The hotel is about a 10 min walk into city centre , just off a side road but it feels like you are out in nature. The terrace from my room overlooked a stream, and it was lovely having breakfast on terrace for no extra cost. They have a parking area which makes it easy to be picked up! I didn't have a chance...

amazing hotel week stay staff made you so welcome and went out their way to make stay holiday never forget will definitely recommend and sure we be booking next visit to bali

Only way to sum up this hotel is truly amazing. Stayed here for 5 nights as a couple and were impressed with everything, they picked us up at airport on arrival, cottage was ready at the hotel, room was spotless everyday, room had free WiFi, a very good bathroom, safety deposit safe, complimentary room service breakfast which was awesome, staff at this hotel are what makes it so good, they are so genuinely friendly, the grounds of the hotel are attended to almost all day,the pool are is almost...

If you are staying in Ubud, we would highly recommend Gayatri. The staff were attentive and the breakfast was by far the best we had in Bali! Furthermore, the hotel offers a peacefulness and tranquility that you would expect from an oasis, whilst still walking distance from many restaurants, temples, bars, shops and, most importantly, the monkey forest. We also visited the local village of Mas which is well known for its wood carving and mask making, a great day out to see the artisans at work!

We had a good time staying at the cottages. It was very close to the market area, only a 15 mins walk to the Ubud market. The staff was helpful too. Overall a nice experience.

Me and my husband, stayed here for 12 days, the place is amazing, if you like monkeys, you love here, right next to monkey forest, so they will visit everyday. Only a 5 min walk I to ubud centre, or if you want peace and quite, their are some loverly small local restaurant near by, the rooms are spoiltless, and the staff are very friendly, it has its own restaurant, with live music some nights, which is brilliant, well done Bali Bohemian, from Trish & steve manchester

A really lovely boutique hotel, ran by a lovely set of people- great location right in the heart of it very nice breakfast too, def recommend

The hotel was so quiet and peaceful. We had a room slightly back from the rice fields and it was huge! Always kept clean, very cool and had a lovely view of a water garden. Outside seating and the bathroom and changing area was very big. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast which gave a good selection, however wasn't covered so well so there was a few flies. The freshly made eggs and omlettes were lovely! You are in a great location, near many restaurants, bars and shops and only a...

Beautiful boutique hotel with the loveliest of people who helped me organise and reschedule a tour when I got poorly and repeatedly checked in on me to make sure I'm okay. Special thanks to Desa and Mey. The room was large and clean, with a large wardrobe, and I had private spacious seating on my balcony where I took breakfast each morning. This hotel would be a great place for a longer stay. Yes, they're on a main road but this is Ubud and using ear plugs well means you can get a good sleep.
