"With covid there was nothing open except the hiking trails so we felt like there was nothing for us to do except go to the restraunt. We tried to go to the dock and fish after the sun went down since it was 110 degrees that day and a staff member came and told us no fishing after dark so at that time we knew there was not ANYTHING for us to do. "You know what?I really loved our stay at the thunderbird lodge.I've seen a couple negative reviews. And i may have put three stars on maintenance and useful amenities. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay as much as I absolutely could.They had a full kitchen, so we didn't have a grill outside like most cabins . But we had a full kitchen a walk in pantry with two fridges two freezers a ton of shelf space a massive patio ride on the lake?It was absolutely beautiful.The staff was super helpful. Apparently, the grounds are haunted so super fun ."
