"Probably my bad for not believing the photos. The room is truly a cave, almost to the point of giving me a claustrophobia. This is just a weird place. It’s essentially a decorated motor lodge. I think it would be good if you plan to eat at the restaurant, which we did not. The pool is closed for the winter, even though it’s late April. The bed is relatively uncomfortable, too soft. "We enjoyed our stay at the Winston. Great rooms! Small property & safe. Convenient, safe parking. Not too pleased with the early morning garbage truck dumping right outside our window. We had lots of noise from neighboring rooms & upstairs rooms during our stay. It sounded like an elephant walking around upstairs! I would stay in an upper room next time."
