"When we first pulled up & registered we were very impressed - the lobby was nicely situated & the beach area was simply gorgeous. But . . . No one mentioned no elevators. Since my husband is disabled, we couldn’t take our beachfront room with balcony. he couldn’t do all those stairs. The staff put us in a room in the main building way back where the carpets are old & stained; the elevators dirty; & we had a partial ocean view - and much more of the roof. "It is a neat property with a great location right on tje harbor, and in walking distance to many of the restaurants and coffee/ice cream shops, which are very close to the property. It was fun walking around and going to see the gingerbread cottages nearby as well. It was just me staying there, [on a business trip ], so the room was fine for me, but it’s very small overall. The bed was very comfortable. since I called an advance, they let me reserve a parking spot which was basically right...

"This hotel is perfect. It has recently been renovated/refreshed. Decor is lovely, everything was clean, amenities were just what you need and bonus: a big sink and has comfy beds/linens and easy to park load/unload. We did not visit the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained."

"We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was still not ready. We were told that they were under new management as of the day we checked in. They were also not able to provide us with a key upon check-in so when we returned from dinner we had to walk all around the building to the front entrance to get into our room (without a key the other entrances were not accessible). We feel that we should not be charged the additional "facilities fee" for the inconveniences."
