"The staff was excellent,Rachel at checkin was so helpful. All the front desk staff were quick to offer suggestions. grab n go breakfast was more than adequate. We stayed in the main house -room bit dated, noisy heat unit and bathroom light/fan was annoying. Motion sensors so went on every time you walked in. Also the mattress was lumpy good location but really needs some updates"

"My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. "It is a charming property, with wonderful views of Frenchman's Bay. We were there early so some things ( bar) was not available yet. Our upper floor room with fireplace and balcony, were lovely! "We requested a first floor room as I am orthpedically challenged. When we got there it was a second floor room with no chance to change.
