"The front of the building has an elevator but the back of the building were our rooms are located has none. You have to go out the front building and walk to the side and enter the doors of the back building which I feel is unsecured. It could dark at nights and might stepped on dog poop(?). Else everything is fine. You have to ask for a kettle since they didn't leave one in our room. There is a receptionist at least always. Taxi or Uber could not enter the narrow road and needs to walk a little...

"Location. I think of locations as two things. First proximity to the ferry, train and bus station. House Sandra is within minutes of the Split Riva and the Diocletian Palace as well as great restaurants, the beach, and the old town. Secondly, location is the neighborhood, which goes back centuries with stone houses and a network of alley ways for strolling through with beautiful architecture and friendly locals. House Sandra itself is a stone house and the rooms are beautiful and...

"Everything was great except for the air freshener smell that permeated the room and the elevator. We had to keep the patio door wide open all night to keep the smell down. Otherwise I would have given this hotel a 5/5. Please remove the artificial smells !"
