7. Windsor Palace Luxury Heritage Hotel Since 1906 by Paradise Inn Group

El Atareen

"The Windsor Palace is a beautiful classic hotel with clean rooms, excellent service, and a great location. Unfortunately, checkout left a bad impression. I was charged 240 EGP for two bottles of water, a bag of chips that was barely a quarter full, and an expired chocolate bar from the room’s fridge. No one had told me those items would be charged separately. After an otherwise pleasant stay, this made the hotel seem unnecessarily money hungry. Clear pricing and better checks on the snacks would...

"Hotel has a prime location on the sea. The views are stunning. Breakfast area and restaurant directly on the sea. The staff is exceptional. However, the hotel room I stayed in needs major remodeling. Bathroom is horrible, bed sheets have stains. No WiFi till they got me my own router. This hotel has great potential, but for now major upgrades are needed. Plastic bags are in the sea, now shower to rinse off on the beach. Thanks to all the amazing staff for always trying to accommodate all our...

"1. Great location and amazing water /Mediterranean access. Just about the ONLY selling point. 2. Extremely poor /disastrous service - clueless staff, no thought or consideration to guest experience, people running around without any clear idea or direction to guide guests 3. Place is an active construction site with lot of sand, dust, construction material and unpleasant vacation experience (noise, pollution, etc) 4. Room was hot and humid, unclean, major fly problem, toilet was broken (toilet...

"I stayed there for 5 nights in July the high season . The place was booked solid. They gave me a room overlooking the parking lot of the Hotel. When I asked to change the room they emphatically refused. I told for what I was paying which is higher than any other hotel in top seaside destinations I expected a better view than a parking lot! At least a garden , a pool or a partial sea view. The next day they said a room was available at an upgrade fee of $150. So please make sure when booking you...
