Excellent hotel with amazing staff. Overall, 10/10. The only downside was a noticeable smoking smell in the room. Management should do more to enforce the no-smoking policy, as some guests appear to ignore it.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it! Rotana Palma Resort in El Alamein truly exceeded our expectations. Palm Rotana North Coast was a genuinely excellent experience. The atmosphere is calm, elegant and very relaxing, but what impressed me most was the staff. From breakfast to reception, housekeeping and the teams around the hotel, everyone was welcoming, attentive and consistently pleasant. That simple “good morning” and smile from almost every employee creates a very positive feeling throughout the stay. The breakfast team and reception staff deserve special praise. A few areas could still be improved. For a suite, bed linen should ideally be changed at least every three days. Room amenities also felt insufficient for the actual daily consumption of a suite, with some items almost empty and shower gel only replaced once after requesting it. I was also unable to link or benefit from my Gold membership during the stay, including at the hotel club, so the practical value of the membership was unclear. In addition, I booked through Expedia as a VIP Access property, but I was not clearly informed what extra VIP benefit or recognition applied to my stay. The gate-entry system is a good idea but still needs development, especially for guests who enjoy visiting other beaches and restaurants outside the resort. Overall, I am very happy with the stay and genuinely impressed by the hotel, its atmosphere and, above all, its people.

An outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally courteous, the property was immaculately clean, and the food was consistently delicious. As particularly selective diners, we greatly appreciated the extra care taken to accommodate our preferences at breakfast and during the wonderful dinners. The general manager, waitstaff, and entire team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. We very much look forward to returning. Book with confidence. Well done, and thank you.

A decently upscale vibe and staff were exceptionally friendly and gracious. Beach area was very well-maintained with lots of staff, ensuring guests provided with beach towels and lounge chairs. The beach, however, is on a small, but lovely lagoon, without direct access to the Mediterranean. This was perhaps the one downside of the hotel from my perspective, though families with small children would probably prefer this situation.

The staff at Rotana Palma Bay are extremely friendly, polite and very helpful. The reception team are very welcome and helpful. Ayoub arranged for a sea view room and was very punctual with time. Another staff member from the reception had kindly ordered Kushary on my behalf after I requested his assistance because I couldn't make the order. His name is maybe Mahmoud, I was so happy with the Kushary and Mahmoud helped me try it. Room service staff, Hadi and Mohammed werevery helpful and professional. My room was cleaned with perfection. Restaurant staff are very nice and friendly, they all welcomed me with a smile. Hossam was the first to meet and greet very helpful and never stops smiling. Bashed was very helpful, welcoming and helpful. Looked after me with keeping the coffee and water filled. Bar at the beach staff are very nice Hossam and El Sawy are very friendly, helpful and professiona. Thank you so much Rotana for hiring the best quality of service provided by lovely staff.

For beach lovers, first in importance is the fact that this property IS NOT direct Mediterranean ocean front. No access to the ocean front. It does have a lovely beach with nice white sand, but it is on a lagoon fairly close to the ocean front. It, therefore, a more safe and predictable swimming environment. Super- clean and organized property. Helpful and polite staff. The breakfast buffet (included with some packages) is of high quality, has a wide variety of items, and is overall an excellent start for your day. The dinner buffet ($30 in July 2026) is also excellent. As a prospective guest you should be aware that there are no alcoholic drinks of any kind served at this property.
