"Everything was perfect .. except Mangal restaurant, wasn’t good at all! The amount of meat wasn’t enough for 7 people and it was way less compared to last year! Please watch the quality and the serving of this restaurant because I wasn’t happy about it. Also the bar in this restaurant wasn’t good, the blue lagoon drink doesn’t taste at all! The salt restaurant was amazing! Coffee planet on the beach was exceptional"

"Best hotel in Cairo, so close to the Pyramids. Beautiful sunset views from the rooms, from the gardens and Restaurant 139. Staff was so friendly and helpful, loved the grounds. Pool was great to cool off and beat the heat. Oh and the history, I didn’t realize it was so famous for many different reasons, similar to Waldorf Astoria in NYC. If visiting Cairo, it’s a must to be at this hotel."

"This resort is very beautiful. The private beach is the special part, and not all the resort have it. The food is good and various, we never had issues or stomach problems and the staff is always ready to assist you. The view of the room (sea) is breathtaking. We stayed at 7th floor and we love it. So, at the and, we surely recommend the resort. "We had a very good stay at the Sofitel. The pool area was very nice and the lobby is beautiful. Only drawback is the smoke in the lobby. Makes it harder to enjoy. Room was a bit small as well but ok. Staff were helpful. The other Sofitel in Cairo is at a better location though so I would stay there next time."

"All I liked in this property is the Nile view , property is very old , rooms are very small and old , bathrooms have no vacuum and very small and smell rotten. Management are incompetent, I was supposed to stay for a week and paid $1481 , checked out after two days , and got nothing back , bathroom toilet was broken . They rapped me off"

"La chambre est spacieuse et belle vue sur la mer, seul point positif. L’hôtel est délabré, une assiette sale est restée 4 jours dans le couloir, le restaurant n’est pas bon, une fois sur 2 la machine à boisson ne fonctionnait pas et au 3eme jours l’eau des WC ressort dans une évacuation au sol de la salle de bain, bref a fuir de toute urgence"

"Prices are for luxury hotels but staff ruins your experience, untrained, rude and you have to speak to a manager about basic hotel amenities and supplies to get things done. They have the nespresso machines in the rooms but they do not supply nespresso capsules unless you asked, someone trying to be smart over there may have suggested to save few bucks. Even though you have a credit card on file they keep harassing you with bills to sign the moment you order something claiming that people order...
