"I was extremely frustrated to discover that my room was directly above the hotel's event space, where a wedding reception was taking place. At no point before or during check-in was I informed that there would be an event loud enough to be fully audible from my room. Had I known, I would have asked whether another room was available—or, quite honestly, chosen to stay elsewhere.
