"Wow! The Jackson is a gem. Such a peaceful, beautifully maintained, classic Vermont Inn. Both the Inn and the town of Woodstock brim with charm. The sitting parlors are inviting. My room on the 2nd floor was cozy. And the bed was awesome. Breakfast is not included in the lodging fee but was well worth the experience. And the grounds...! Make the most of your time at the Jackson to stroll the lovely, spacious lawn & gardens behind the Inn. I enjoyed a brief, morning, quiet-time...

"Breakfast was good. They give you a choice out of 2 of 3 things. It’s nice to have a variety, especially when staying somewhere for several days. I believe we rented the largest room, that had an attached sitting/ tv room and balcony. Well, everything was great except the bathroom was really small. Prob why it’s not in any pictures."

"The place was not cleaned well. The water was off we had to call the front desk. The Diswasher was fully of dishes. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. No paper towel in the kitchen, not even one to start. The wall in the kitchen was dirty"

"I can show pictures of the unit that was very different than described. I paid extra for a Mountain View for 3 nights - and it was not Mountain View. We were in a different building at the bottom of the hill a 8 min freeezing cold and icy walk to the pool area. "
