"I would give the hotel a 3.5. In general it’s nice but there’s a few issues. Chairs at the main restaurant on the patio are disgustingly filthy. Room was nice but needed a bit of updating. It was clean and comfortable though. The pool is a busy cluster of chairs and there’s nothing relaxing about it. The location is very good. With the review ratings, I honestly expected it to be better. It’s not bad and I would go back in a pinch but only if Opal Sands was full."

"The Front Entrance is not clearly marked. The Address on the Web Site and printed materials is a block away from the valet entrance. I was hot, tired, and frustrated after knocking on 3 or 4 sets of doors along 7th Street before I stumbled around the corner to the valet entrance, which I guess is the main entrance.
The pool area was full on Friday mid-afternoon, with 3 or 4 seating areas blocked off as "Reserved". For whom? How do you reserve a seat? I retreated to the lobby in my bathing...
