"It just an okay stay. Our expectations were much higher after our similar or cheaper rate stays in Chiang Mai Hongkhao Village and Mora Boutique in Chiang Rai. The View as a hotel is beautifully designed but not maintained to standards.
Staff is not trained to take care of customers. The view from the roof top restaurant bar and restaurant is amazing but you cant relay only on that to win continued business. Service is subpar and food just okay.
The last thing that was super disappointing was...

"What beautiful grounds to walk, sit, read and relax. It felt like I had my very own oasis. I love walking out the balcony and seeing the Koi pond and hearing the birds chirping. I love the special fact that i can pick flowers that have fallen on the grounds and place mini bouquet in my room. Little touches like that made my relaxation even sweeter. The staff are so pleasant, kind and make you feel like royalty. The TV didn't work too well and and maybe some natural plants to helps control...

"This is a wonderful resort not far from Chiang Mai. The check and and out was fast. The room was clean with a comfortable mattress. The pool was clean and nearby the room. The restaurant provided a good dinner. The breakfast buffet had made to order egg dishes, many hot dishes, pastries, Thai desserts and fruits. The grounds were very beautiful. I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and have enjoyed this resort. I recommend Horizon for a nice getaway"

Penthouse was wonderful. Big windows for great views of the sky and river.
Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Perfect location just outside of the hustle and bustle but close enough to come and go with ease.
I’ll be staying there again!"

"Patt shined a light on Mae Kam Pong with his hospitality.
We stayed one night during rainy season. Upon arrival, Patt informed us since we have limited time, that we should go see the waterfall and then a temple along the river, and we could easily walk back thru the main village street to his place. We hopped on his ATV and he and his little dog took us up to the waterfall.
Patt is understanding of guest space and needs and is there to help whenever you ask. His English is great and we had...
