"I booked and prepaid for my room at this hotel, specifically for the location on 4th avenue. I got an email from hotel.com the same day I expected to check in, stating that my reservation had been revoked. So I called, I spoke to Maria from the front desk, who assured me my res was still in good standing. I arrive to hotel and the front desk disappeared with my ID for 20 minutes, only to come back and tell me they overbooked and had no room for me. I travel a lot in general, I book direct sometimes and sometimes thru Expedia, and have never experienced something like this. And from a company like Fairmont? Let’s be fair, I would expect that from motel 6 but this was a five star property. I will never spend money there again. And if I could give zero stars I would. "
