"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days with 2 kids. The hotel was spacious and very relaxing. The pools and waterslides were the main attraction!
It was a short ride to downtown Carlsbad or Encinitas which offer great dining options. The beaches were also a short ride from the hotel which made for a fun visit!
I would say the service was good but not great. The resort was packed on Saturday and the pool area was very busy and they didn’t fully open the restaurant or waterslides until 11am. We...

"Very beautiful spot on the coast. Very boutique size which is nice and located centrally to many great shops and restaurants. The resort restaurant does not quite live up to a standard for this type of resort. Selections are extremely limited and not one shrimp option on the menu. Rather odd. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. Staff are excellent."
